The Livestream Kanikapila on May 15, 2021, featured two hours of live performances by an all-star kanikapila band that viewers could play along with or just enjoy the music. The all-star band featured Gary Aiko, Bobby Ingano, Alan Akaka, fiddler David Finch, Kaipo Asing, Greg Sardinha, Adam Asing, and slack key guitarist George Kuo. The live broadcast was supplemented by NextGen videos during a brief rain interruption.
