The Livestream Open Stage Showcase on September 25, 2021, featured two hours of prerecorded performances submitted by steel guitarists from Hawai‘i, several US states, and several foreign countries including Japan, Australia, England, and Sweden.

  • Alan Akaka was the host for the Open Stage showcase.
  • Kiyoshi ''Lion'' Kobayashi and his New Trade Winds performed ''Sophisticated Hula.''
  • Keiji Kusano (bass), Kiyoshi ''Lion'' Kobayashi (steel guitar), Hidezo Ito (drums) and Hideki Saito (guitar).
  • Kiyoshi ''Lion'' Kobayashi on the steel guitar.
  • Aaron Benolkin performed ''La ʻElima.''
  • Tai Misailidis showed her versatility by performing ''All About That Bass'' on the steel guitar and the U-bass.
  • Tai shows more versatility on the upright bass and the U-bass.
  • ''Moana Chimes'' was presented by Christo Ruppenthal his Christo's Novelty Combo featuring Gian Compuesto (guitar) and Forrest Evans (bass).The Combo returned in the second set with ''Nā Lei O Hawaiʻi.'
  • Chuck Moore performed ''Haole Hula.''
  • ''Hula Lolo'' was performed by Noriko Tomita on steel guitar and Shuji Tomita on vocals.
  • David Fisher provided a piano introduction to ''Evening In the Islands.''
  • David Fisher on vocals and steel guitar.
  • Kayoko Iwade and Norio Usui performed ''E Maliu Mai.''
  • ''South Sea Island Magic'' was offered by Nic Neufeld.
  • Ethan Goore and Sonny Lim performed ''Noho Paipai.''
  • Hideki Hattori performed ''Kanaka Waiwai." He also performed ''Twilight in Hawaiʻi'' in the second set.
  • Hideki also accompanied himself on the slack key guitar.
  • ''ʻUkupalakua'' was done by Yoshiko Seo (steel guitar) and Anegogumi. From left: Osamu Makimoto (bass), Yoshiko Seo, Kibata Tomoko (ʻukulele) and Hiroko Tanaka (bass.) Anegogumi also performed ''Kuʻu Ipo I Ka Heʻe Puʻe Oneʻʻ in the second set.
  • Shinichi Kakiuchi (steel guitar) and Kumiko Kakiuchi (ʻukulele) offered ''Kaula ʻIli.''
  • Joe Stewart performed ''Pua Lilia.''
  • Kay Das performed ''Love Letters in the Sand.''
  • Paul Agar performed ''Po Atarau'' (ʻʻNow Is the Hour'').
  • Paul Agar.
  • ''He Punahele No ʻOe'' was performed by Justin Firmeza.
  • Noriko and Shuji Tomita also performed ''Hawaiian Hula Eyes.''
  • Hajime Takahashi played ''Mapuana'' accompanied by Kiyoshi ''Lion'' Kobayashi on the Roland keyboard.
  • Einar Baldursson from Sweden offered ''Pagan Love Song.''
  • Steel guitarist Patti Maxine performed a steel guitar duet with Joey Misailidis.
  • Patti Maxine and Joey Misailidis doing ''My Yellow Ginger Lei.''
  • Patti Maxine on the steel guitar.
  • Patti and Joey took turns playing the steel guitar and singing.
  • Joey Misailidis on the steel guitar.
  • The final performance was by the Lion Ladies Steel Guitar Ensemble with Kiyoshi ''Lion'' Kobayashi performing the jazz standard ''Take the 'A' Train.''
