Helene Woodward

Helene is an experienced upright bass player and vocalist.

She performed with Mahiehie for halau hula for 25 years. She also performed at the Halekulani Hotel in Waikīkī with the Islanders for 20 years.

Helene was also one of the contemporary local artists featured in PBS Hawaii's Na Lani Eha from Iolani Place: The Music of Hawaiian Royalty, a program of music from Hawaii's monarchy era produced inside the majestic halls of ‘Iolani Palace
